Melayu Boleh, Sudirman Hj Arshad is another personality that Melayu Boleh wants to introduce to you. A Malaysian singer and also a lawyer was born on 25 May 1954 in Temerloh, Pahang and he always be known as the ‘People’s Singer’, ‘Singing Lawyer’, and also the ‘Elvis of Malaysia’.



I think the most memorable part for Sudirman fans is in 15 April 1986 when he held the biggest open air concert in Malaysia on Chow Kit Road. Almost 100,000 person crowd on a Monday night to watch Sudirman’s performance live .

The best achievement for melayu boleh personality today, Sudirman was when he won the title “Best Performer” in Asia Music Award 1989 contest at Royal Albert Hall, London in 1989 beat another singer likes Leslie Cheung (Hong Kong Megastar), Anita Sarawak (Singapore Diva), Kuh Ledesma (Philippines) and many others from another country.

The early life of Tan Sri Syed Moktar Al-Bukhari is not easy. He was born into mid-low class family in Kedah, whose house was without necessities and luxuries. He never went to university and only has highest education until form five. Due to his poor background, Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhari helps his mother planting and selling vegetables in the market and also selling roti canai in early age. After that he took over his father business in breeding cow business and start over by selling meats wholesale. The business started to take off and his determination paid off.


He then started his business dealing in rice in the 1990s in Kedah. After that, he continues his business to rice trading business and now he has a lot of company and net worth RM3.2 billion. This make him the richest Bumiputra corporate figure in Malaysia. This is true Melayu Boleh.
